When Things Begin to Unfold
Share
There are moments in life when things don’t feel like they’re being built…
they feel like they’re gently unfolding.
That’s where I am right now.
When I first started Serene Dragonfly, it was quiet. Personal.
Just a small step toward something I felt in my heart but couldn’t fully see yet.
And now… things are beginning to move.
Not all at once.
Not in a rush.
But in a steady, meaningful way that feels guided instead of forced.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve taken steps that once felt far away.
I received my first order.
I’ve been preparing for my first pop-up space.
I’ve started gathering pieces, ideas, and inventory—some handmade, some thoughtfully chosen—to create something that feels like more than just a place to shop.
A place to pause.
A place to breathe.
A place that reflects the same peace I’ve been learning to hold onto in my own life.
It hasn’t all been perfect.
Some things didn’t turn out the way I expected.
Some products weren’t what I hoped for.
Some plans are still coming together piece by piece.
But even in that, I can see something important:
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about intention.
It’s about building something slowly… faithfully… and with purpose.
There have also been moments where I’ve seen just how God is working in the background—through conversations, opportunities, and doors opening at just the right time.
Things I couldn’t have planned.
Things I didn’t force.
Just quiet confirmation that I’m moving in the right direction.
Serene Dragonfly is no longer just something in my heart.
It’s becoming something real.
And I’m letting it grow the only way I know how—
steadily, gently, and with trust.
If you’ve been following along, thank you for being here in these early stages.
There’s still so much ahead.
And I have a feeling this is only the beginning.
